Imugan Falls is one of the most famous falls in Nueva Vizcaya. It is located in the province’s southernmost town, Sta. Fe. Imugan Falls is a 35-foot spring waterfalls flowing between two mountains. It is so called a hidden sanctuary since it will take you seven kilometers of unpaved road from the national highway, and an additional one kilometer hike from Brgy. Imugan.

Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival

Last year, I got a text message from a friend asking me if I would like to go with them an visit the Hot Air Baloon Festival in Clark, Pampanga. I saw several pictures of this festival before and I was really amazed by those colorful giant balloons. So, I replied YES!

Since we rented a van, we easily arrive at the venue as early as 4:30 a.m. There were already a lot of people in the area but we're all heading in one direction--the entrance gate.

When a friend learned that I`m in Cebu City, he texted me and asking for some pasalubong. So, I made sure that before my flight back to Manila, I went to Taboan market, the country’s most popular source of danggit and other kind of dried fishes.

Danggit  is a salted dried fish that is well loved by Filipinos. It is usually fried and served with hot rice and tomato. Others dip it with vinegar, garlic and siling labuyo.

Danggit and other dried sea foods are sold at Taboan market at PhP 400 – 700 a kilo depending on the season and your ability to negotiate or tawad.
