A walk along Calle Crisologo

Calle Crisologo is probably the most famous street in Vigan, known for it's quaint old houses that survived over times. I was very fascinated on how they were able to maintain the ambiance of this place. And of course, cleanliness is really a plus factor.

Taking a walk or going around Calle Crisologo in a calesa makes you feel you are on a time travel. Old cobbled streets, calesas and old houses, a real silent witnesses of the past.

taking a calesa ride is a great idea.

What to buy in Vigan?

If you are in Vigan, there are so many stuff you can get if you wish to buy some 'pasalubong' like t-shirts, bracelets, processed peanuts, shawls, hats, etc..

FYI, the Heritage City of Vigan has won the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) award for “Best Practice in World Heritage Site Management, besting 28 other cities in 23 countries, during the 40th World Heritage Convention in Kyoto, Japan, on November 6-8, 2012 (Manila Bulletin).

Truly, there's no place like Vigan.

So, that's all for today. Til next 'pasyar'!
